In our case, the 2 question surveys yielded a pretty wide range of response rates (none, unfortunately, as good as 60%).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think it's fair to think of surveys as a type of social exchange&amp;#226;&amp;#8364;&amp;#8221;respondents volunteer their time in the expectation of some direct or indirect benefit.&amp;nbsp; A meaningful pre-existing relationship (as is the case with many B2B businesses) can help to boost the response rate, as can a number of techniques to foster a relationship (the most important of which have to do with making the benefits of participating clear to customers).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No doubt the length of the survey has a contribution to response rates, but I'm not sure it is the critical factor at play (assuming a reasonable length, of course)!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:dba44765-9d99-4976-af53-a1505fe116b4] --&gt;</description>
