Last year we learned that leadership in the BioPharma market requires building trust with multiple stakeholders, including prescribers, pharmacists, thought leaders and patients. Jean-Christophe Barland, GM BMS France will provide an update on how Customer Experience journey has progressed.

From the initial launch in France to a now a push for global deployment, we will hear about the challenges that were overcome, successes that were achieved, and lessons learned.
 
About Jean-Christophe Barland
Jean-Christophe joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in June 2012.
 
He qualified as a doctor of veterinary medicine from Lyon University in 1989 and holds a MBA in healthcare and biotechnology from Manchester Business School.

Jean-Christophe began his career with Akzo Nobel in the Netherlands. In 1995, he was recruited by Fujisawa in Munich, Germany, as a Marketing Manager.
 
In 1997, he joined SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, now GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he held positions of increasing responsibilities, firstly in the UK as a Commercial Strategy Director, CNS Global. In 2006, he became VP Commercial Development Asia Pacific, based in Singapour, where he managed Marketing and Commercial Operations for 13 countries. In December 2008, he came back to France as VP Director of Operations, Primary Care.
 
In 2010, he became Managing Director France and North Africa Region for Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition, Danone, before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb in June 2012.
