PINS – leading the evolution of loyalty programs in the digital age

Coalition Rewards was launched in October 2009 and now has grown to be the leading multi-partner loyalty program operator in Northern Europe. It owns and operates the PINS program – a global and innovative loyalty program with more than 700 local, global and online partners represented. The loyalty currency for the program is PINS which can be collected for shopping online, traveling, eating out, buying groceries, jewelry, fragrances, electronics, toys and much more. PINS can be spend on groceries, flight tickets, gift cards, donations, music downloads or online shopping with a wide range of products. When spending on “Online Rewards”, one can also use PINS in combination with money. PINS was the most searched brand in Google in 2014 in Finland and has been the recipient of many global awards, including most recently when Loyalty Magazine named PINS 2015’s Best New Loyalty Program of the Year and ‘Best Loyalty Program Marketing Campaign’ for the launch of the program in Finland. PINS’ CEO Gabi Kool was named Industry Personality of the Year in EMEA in 2014 by Loyalty Magazine.
 
About Gabi Kool

Gabi is leading the Coalition Rewards organization since 2011, operator and owner of among others the PINS coalition loyalty program (www.pinsforme.com and www.pins.fi ), voted as Best New Loyalty Program in Europe while PINS also was the most searched for brand in Google in 2014 in Finland, ahead of iPhone 6.The company’s aim is to be the most successful loyalty marketing company in Northern Europe and selected European markets, supporting customer-centric retailers, financial institutions and travel companies.Prior to his current position Gabi spent fifteen years in finance, loyalty marketing and general management, focusing on the aviation, retail and hospitality industry. He supported many Fortune 500 companies during his time at Carlson Marketing (now AIMIA), also during the Beijing 2008 Olympics, with their marketing programs. He successfully launched and managed VOILA Hotel Rewards, the first global loyalty program for independent hotels, held responsibility for the development of KLM’s frequent flyer program and is a graduate in Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and alumnus of INSEAD Business School. In June 2014 he was recognized at the Loyalty Awards 2014 in London as the Industry Personality of the Year in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Gabi is a Dutch citizen and after having worked and lived in Amsterdam, Singapore, Shanghai, London and Barcelona he currently lives in Riga with his wife Chantal and four young children.
